The Action consists of five Working Groups (WGs), three scientific and two organizational ones.
WG1 coordinates and promotes research on foundations of Quantum Field Theory (QFT), and how they impact on the formulation of a Relativistic Quantum Information theory. Topics include: relativistic aspects of entanglement, causality and covariance in QFT, QFT measurements, relativistic quantum resources, quantum information in black holes, fundamental experiments.
WG2 coordinates and promotes research on gravitational effects in quantum systems, and on the development of quantum sensing for relativistic and gravitational effects. Topics include: gravity induced entanglement, tests of QFT in curved spacetime, gravitational decoherence, quantum equivalence principle, quantum reference frames, quantum gravity predictions for near-future experiments.
WG3 coordinates and promotes research on the roles of time, causality, and memory in quantum physics. Research topics include: definition and tests of temporal observables, superpositions of quantum clocks, quantum causal orders, relativistic non-Markovian effects, emergence of time and causality from quantum gravity.
WG4 supports the Action website, promotes the Action research through press releases, popular-science articles, and podcasts, and it organizes outreach events, liaises with the quantum technologies industry, space agencies and policymakers.
WG5 organizes the Action’s conferences, workshops, and schools, manages the Action’s mobility activities, ensures gender balance in the Action activities, applies the Action’s code of conduct, and facilitates the development of best practices across the community.
